Give Your Time

Volunteer your skills with purpose and responsibility

NTC welcomes carefully matched volunteer contributions that add value to programmes while protecting young people, communities and service quality.

Availability depends on current programme needs. NTC does not place volunteers directly into clinical, counselling or safeguarding roles without the required qualifications, checks, supervision and role approval.

What volunteers can expect

Clear responsibilities, orientation, a named supervisor, safeguarding guidance, reasonable feedback and recognition of completed service. Unless a role states otherwise, volunteering is not guaranteed employment or paid work.

Application process

1. Review any current volunteer role description.

2. Submit the volunteer form, CV or skills profile and availability.

3. Participate in a role-fit discussion if shortlisted.

4. Complete references, safeguarding checks and orientation where required.

5. Sign a volunteer agreement and work under a designated supervisor.
