National Students Conference: Institutionalising Student Health

Students and partners discussed the institutionalisation of mental-health and SRHR services in universities.
University students, government representatives, civil-society organisations and development partners met to examine how higher-education institutions can respond more systematically to student health and well-being.
Discussion covered mental health, HIV, sexual and reproductive health, violence, harassment, provider attitudes, menstrual health and the need for clear institutional guidance and referral pathways.
NTC joined calls for stronger collaboration among ministries, universities and civil society and for investment in accessible, respectful and youth-friendly services.
