Strengthening Partnerships for Better Health in Kamuli District

The Naguru Teenage Centre (NTC) is proud to take part in the joint SRHR Development Partners and Human Capital Development Working Group mission in Kamuli District. This important engagement is being led by the Office of the Prime Minister’s Human Capital Development (HCD) Secretariat, together with UNFPA Uganda and other key partners.

Day 1 of the mission began with a courtesy visit to the district leadership, where teams were briefed on the ongoing programs under the Human Capital Development framework and the Parish Development Model (PDM). These discussions set the stage for understanding how national and local initiatives are aligning to improve health, education, and overall community well-being.

Following the briefing, participants proceeded to various field sites to witness firsthand how SRHR and HCD programs are being implemented on the ground. The visit provided valuable insights into the progress, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration in strengthening service delivery.

NTC remains committed to working hand in hand with partners to enhance access to quality SRHR services and contribute to Uganda’s broader human capital development goals.

Together, we’re building healthier, more empowered communities across Uganda.
