We are currently conducting a micro consultative forum meeting with young people in Lwala Sub-county under the Spotlight Initiative. This session is part of our continuous efforts to create safe spaces where young people can freely express their views, share experiences, and identify the real challenges they face regarding sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

Through these open discussions, participants are shedding light on pressing issues such as limited access to accurate SRHR information, misconceptions about contraception, and the barriers that prevent them from seeking health services. Their voices and perspectives are critical in shaping more responsive and inclusive interventions.

The feedback gathered during this forum will play an essential role in guiding future engagements with community leaders and policymakers, ensuring that the solutions developed truly reflect the needs and realities of the youth.

Every conversation brings us one step closer to a healthier, better-informed generation , one that feels seen, heard, and empowered to take charge of its future.

Together, let’s keep amplifying young voices for stronger SRHR advocacy in our communities.
