The saturday of 08/11/25, we shared a beautiful and inspiring moment with the Teens Club members of Ayiri Health Centre III, where a vibrant life skills session brought together young people eager to learn, connect, and grow. After the session, we sealed the day with a cheerful group photo moment, a reflection of the unity, confidence, and hope radiating from every participant.
The session focused on empowering adolescents with essential life skills from effective communication and decision-making to understanding their emotions and managing peer pressure. These skills are critical in helping young people navigate challenges and make positive, informed choices in their daily lives.
Beyond learning, the teens had the chance to express themselves, share personal experiences, and support one another in a safe and inclusive environment. The enthusiasm and curiosity displayed by the group reaffirmed the importance of continuous mentorship and engagement with adolescents at the community level.
At Naguru Teenage Centre, we believe that when young people are equipped with the right knowledge and skills, they become agents of change, confident, resilient, and ready to shape a healthier future for themselves and their peers.
