This evening, the Naguru Teenage Centre (NTC) team proceeded to the Moyo Sub-county Headquarters, where we held another round of interactive discussions with sub-county leaders, police representatives, and young people. The session focused on reviewing the progress of commitments made by duty bearers during earlier social accountability engagements.

The atmosphere was lively and open, with participants reflecting on the progress achieved so far and identifying areas that still need collective effort. Such meetings not only strengthen coordination but also help build trust and accountability among all actors working to improve the lives of young people.

A particularly touching moment came when a young participant shared her personal success story , how her peers from NTC supported her during pregnancy, ensuring she didn’t lose hope. With their encouragement and guidance, she is now back in school and steadily progressing. Her story stands as a powerful reminder of what community support, compassion, and empowerment can achieve.

These continued engagements reinforce our commitment to nurturing inclusive spaces where youth voices are valued and real change takes root.

Together, we’re building communities that care, support, and uplift every young person.
